Hugely Successful Ride
Sunday May 3rd’s ride was a rip roaring success. The weather was good, the media coverage great (which is the whole point of the event) and the turnout was fantastic with a final count of 150 people due to a few late arrivals. There were three newspaper articles and a short commentary on the six o’clock news on KVAL, so thanks to all the local media for that.
Well done to all who turned up for this fun ride and who helped get the word out.
I am thinking of doing another ride in September so as to keep the event from becoming common-place and no longer news worthy. Anyone’s help from local bike organizations with email lists would be appreciated. I will be trying to contact all the bikish people around the area in an effort to keep this site up to date with the latest info. concerning the path. Again, anyone wishing to forward information to me for insertion on the page should feel free to do so. Thanks,
